Teena’s combined skills are important for the smooth running of our practice, to bring good management and leadership for our clinical team. Teena is a highly skilled nurse practitioner with over thirty years experience, the last fifteen in dermatology.
She has a specialist interest in dermoscopy, can perform minor surgery and is proficient in treating scarring, or skin rejuvenation. Techniques Teena is experienced in include laser treatment, acid peels, radiofrequency and FNS.
Further aspects of her work include cryotherapy, chronic wound care and a range of dermatological dressings, along with mentoring other staff.
Ensuring all our team are comfortable in their role and serve patients well is an essential part of practice management. Continuity of care comes from shared aims amongst those treating you, along with effective administration.
Teena’s role includes ensuring appropriate care plans are in place and that accurate records of treatment, or medication are kept. Financial systems need to be sound, appointments work for patients and clinicians.
Experience in medical research, education and paediatrics help Teena to allow for different aspects of our operation. This assists with planning the future, to maintain the right services for evolving needs.
