Ms Aggarwal is a consultant plastic surgeon. Her NHS and private practice involve the surgical treatment of skin and breast cancers, reconstruction and aesthetic surgery.
Ms Aggarwal obtained her primary medical degree from the University of Delhi, where she was ranked 1st in the highly competitive Indian National Postgraduate Entrance Exam. She completed her plastic training in London, as part of the Pan Thames training programme, gaining a wide range of experience in cancer reconstruction.
Her skills were enhanced by two prestigious fellowships, the microsurgery fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital and the National TIG (training interface group) fellowship in breast cancer.
Ms Aggarwal has performed more than 2000 skin surgeries over her career. Since joining Skin Care Network in 2019, she has carried out more than 150 post MOHs reconstructions with flaps, under local anaesthetic. She prides herself in optimising wound healing and aesthetic outcomes for all patients, irrespective of age and other medical issues.
She also performs scar revision, keloid excision, excision of benign lumps such as lipoma and cysts. Aesthetic procedures offered by Ms Aggarwal are upper blepharoplasty (eye lift), non surgical facelift with Botox, fillers and threads, fat grafting and PRP.
Further to her clinical practice and educational achievements, Ms Aggarwal has an impressive research background and is actively involved in professional development. Her work has been published in leading peer reviewed journals and she is the audit, quality improvement and research lead for the Breast Unit at Whipps Cross.
