GMC Ref No: 6164259 – Specialist Register Since 2015
Dr Hameed graduated from the Royal Free London and University College Medical School in 2007. Postgraduate medical and specialist dermatology training followed, in London and the home counties.
He then undertook a dermatological and Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship, at Churchill Hospital in Oxford. A good match for Dr Hameed’s natural skills in surgery and his wish to offer patients the best care.
Admittance to the GMC’s specialist register in 2015 has seen Dr Hameed serve as a consultant dermatologist in leading London hospitals. Offering care across the dermatology spectrum, along with a continuing focus on Mohs surgery.
His knowledge on managing skin cancers, in particular complex facial cancers, is invaluable to our practice and to our patients. Bringing appropriate and prompt treatment, which is such an important part of skin cancer care.
Dr Hameed is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, the British Society of Dermatological Surgery and the Royal Society of Medicine. His research involvement includes studies on assessing lentigo maligna and medical imaging in teledermatology.
His approach to the needs of patients is equally important, with Dr Hameed believing that each one deserves to be treated as the individual they are.
