Dr De Mozzi qualified in medicine in 2001, from the respected University of Padua in Italy, one of the oldest in Europe. Much of her postgraduate medical training took place in the UK.
Dermatology was always a leading interest for Dr De Mozzi. After obtaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2008, she completed specialist dermatology training at University Hospitals of Leicester.
Consultancy posts which followed included serving as biologic lead, at Royal United Hospitals in Bath. Dr De Mozzi set up the hospital’s first biologic service for patients with severe psoriasis and acted as a specialty tutor to junior doctors.
Since 2019, her consultancy posts have been in London. Leading services to diagnose and treat eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, melasma and other conditions.
Dr De Mozzi’s expertise in skin cancer has also proven invaluable to patients. Alongside offering accurate diagnosis and treatment, she is qualified to perform dermatological surgery for a range of skin cancers.
A further specialty area for Dr De Mozzi is the impact of natural ageing and photoageing (sun exposure). Whilst a consultant, she obtained a Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine MSc with Distinction, from the University of Manchester.
Dr De Mozzi has published dermatology articles in peer reviewed journals. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, British Society for Dermatological Surgery, British Medical Laser Association and Royal Society of Medicine.
Her continuing wish to access knowledge is reflected in the individual care she offers patients. Ensuring they have access to the latest proven, effective treatment, helping to bring positive outcomes.
